This document is a working draft and will be finalised before the Sagnorva app launches.
These terms are an agreement between you and Sagnorva (“we”, “us”) for using the Sagnorva website and apps. By creating an account or using Sagnorva, you agree to them.
1. Who can use Sagnorva
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract where you live. One person, one account. Keep your login details secure.
2. What Sagnorva is
Sagnorva is a marketplace. Storytellers are independent people who offer live reading sessions; they are not our employees. We provide the platform, verify storytellers’ identity, and handle booking and payment.
3. Bookings, payments and refunds
- Prices are shown before you book. Payment is taken through our payment provider.
- If a storyteller doesn’t show up, or a session fails because of a problem on our side, you get an automatic refund.
- Cancellation windows and any fees are shown in the app before you confirm a booking.
4. Rules for everyone
In sessions, messages and profiles you must not:
- harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone;
- show or request sexual content or nudity, or anything illegal;
- record, screenshot or share a session without every participant’s consent;
- arrange to pay or meet outside Sagnorva;
- pretend to be someone else, or let someone else use your account;
- upload material you don’t have the right to use.
Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, suspension or a permanent ban, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.
5. Storytellers
Storytellers must pass an identity check and keep their details accurate, turn up to booked sessions, and read only material they have the right to read aloud. Payouts are made through our payment provider, less Sagnorva’s fee, which is shown before you accept bookings. Storytellers are responsible for their own taxes.
6. Books and content
Books you upload stay yours and are private to your sessions. You confirm you have the right to use them. The Sagnorva name, logo and app are ours.
7. Safety and reports
You can report a person or session at any time. We may pause or end sessions and suspend accounts to protect people while we review a report. You can ask for a decision about your account to be reviewed by a person.
8. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Sagnorva running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
