What is Sagnorva?
Sagnorva connects you with live storytellers: real people who read books to you by video or voice call. You follow the text on your screen, set a mood with soft background sound, and can invite friends from anywhere to listen together.
When does the app launch?
We’re finishing the iPhone and Android apps now. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the day it opens.
Is it in Arabic?
Yes. The app and this website work in Arabic and English, and you can switch at any time. Storytellers read in many languages.
Who can use Sagnorva?
Sagnorva is for adults aged 18 and over.
Are storytellers checked?
Yes. Every storyteller passes an identity check (a photo of their ID and a selfie match) before their first session, and adds bank details before their first payout. Verified storytellers show a verified badge.
What books can we read?
Free classics from our library, books you upload privately for your own sessions, and books a storyteller brings.
Can I listen with friends in other countries?
Yes. Group sessions let friends in different cities join one storyteller and one book, each in their own time zone.
Are sessions recorded?
No. Live sessions are not recorded. If someone reports a problem during a session, a short clip may be kept only for the safety review. See our privacy policy for details.
